Summer Wardrobe Essentials
I recently moved and decided it would be a good time to clean out my closet and simplify. Most people might look at the amount of clothes I own and question how “simple” could be in the conversation. It's no secret how much I love all things beauty and fashion. My new approach to organizing my closet is by seasons rather than colors. While we all love trends, no wardrobe is complete without the essentials.
We have created a guide for you that covers all the must-have summer staples so that you can have your most stylish summer ever while keeping that wardrobe fresh and simplified + keeping your closet in one season helps to save time (and energy) when wondering what to wear!
White T-shirt
A classic white T is an essential in any wardrobe.
White Button-Up
Also a classic and perfect for summer evenings.
White T's and Button- ups can be worn with jeans, shorts, skirts, and under dresses + they add a touch of polish to casual outfits while enhancing the appearance of your glowing summer tan
The Modern Sundress
Whether you’re heading to work or out for the evening, a beautiful summer dress makes for an easy, comfortable and super cute outfit choice. My favorite dresses are the ones that don’t require ironing and can fit no matter my current weight. Find one that is flattering AND comfortable and it will become your go to when a dress is needed. This year we are seeing a lot of patterns and bright colors but a solid colored dress is a must!

Light weight Shawl

Tanks
From bright colorful tanks to white/black/neutral colored tanks, we suggest covering your bases because they are a necessity in the hot months. I would recommend having your basic colors in tanks and then a couple bright colors each season. Choose colors that look good on you, not necessarily the trendy colors. If the trend colors are not within your ideal clothing pallet they will sit in your closet.
Cover-ups/Kimonos
Cover-ups/Kimonos are some of the most versatile pieces you will have in your wardrobe. They are super cute over jeans or paired with summer dresses and best of all, swimwear! They easily transition into fall, giving yourself a nice two for one when organizing your closet.
